About Jonah

I love to play chess, spend time outside, cook and share my life with the people I love. I am exuberant and social, and enjoy connecting with people whether in informal or professional settings.

I am currently a Simulation Engineer at General Motors, with a passion for educating in my spare time. I graduated with highest honors from the University of Illinois in 2022. I tutored all throughout high school and college and was a Teaching Assistant in college as well.

My combination of soft skills, pedagogical experience, and technical acumen make me uniquely qualified to advise engineers on their paths to a career. I am also deeply familiar with the job search process from college to the professional world.

Empowering Future Engineers

Tutoring

Before the question of a career becomes relevant, you obviously want to excel in your coursework. With many hours of experience teaching High School and College leave STEM material, I am prepared to not only help elevate your GPA, but also provide an understanding of engineering topics that will last.

Interview Prep

Using my own experience interviewing for internships and full time roles, as well as the experience of my mentees, I offer prep for behavioral and technical interviews. Whether perfecting the STAR format or refining soft skills, interview prep can make a world of difference.

Application and Resume Help

Putting together a cohesive application, as well as a job-specific resume can be difference makers in getting past an initial computer screening and impressing recruiters. Work with me to make you to present the strongest candidate possible.

My experience is in remote 1-1 sessions primarily. I have found that students retain the most information in 45 minute sessions. I typically charge $75/session. That being said, my goal is to make tutoring more accessible, and I will adjust as needed to achieve that goal.
